Rudolstadt is a town in Thuringia. It is home to Heidecksburg Castle, the former residence of the Princes of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt. The Anker stone building sets, a classic children’s toy, are world-famous. In 1787 Friedrich Schiller met his wife Charlotte in Rudolstadt where he often spent his summers.
