Ansbach is a city in Middle Franconia and its seat of government. It was the capital and residence of the Hohenzollern family, from 1385 to 1791, and can thus impress with historical sights and treasures such as the giant Ansbach Residence, the Orangery in the court garden and the city gate Herrieder Tor.
