Cologne is located on both sides of the Rhine River, right in the heart of Germany which makes it the most flood-prone European city. It is famous for its beautiful cathedral, the twelve Romanesque churches, the Eau de Cologne, and the Cologne Carnival; one of the largest street festivals in Europe.
