Brandenburg

Brandenburg is a federal state in northeast Germany. More than a third of it consists of nature parks, forests and lakes. For hundreds of years, the region was ruled by the Hohenzollerns and was the heartland of Prussia. Brandenburg's touristic highlight is the former royal seat of Potsdam with its many palaces.
