Memmelsdorf is a small town in the Bavarian Upper Franconia, directly east of Bamberg. The town is known for Schloss Seehof, a palace that was built in the 17th century as a summer residence and lodge for the prince-bishops of Bamberg. It is surrounded by large carp ponds and has a beautiful orangerie.
