Bad Wimpfen is a city in Baden-Württemberg situated in the Kraichgau. It consists of Wimpfen am Berg (on the hill) and Wimpfen im Tal (in the valley). It was founded as a Roman fort and is still famous for its Imperial Castle (Kaiserpfalz). The supermarket chain Lidl has its German headquarters in the city.
