Herzogenaurach is a town in Middle Franconia that was the centre of the German clothier trade in the Middle Ages. Today it is the seat of the two big sporting goods manufacturers Adidas and Puma. The historic old town with its town hall, castle and beautiful half-timbered houses is well worth seeing.
