Weil der Stadt is a small town in Baden-Württemberg near Stuttgart. The former imperial city impresses with well-preserved half-timbered houses and city walls and the church of St. Peter and Paul. The town is also known as the birthplace of the famous mathematician and astronomer Johannes Keppler.
