Heilbronn is a city in the north of Baden-Württemberg. First mentioned in 741 it was made an Imperial Free City by Charles IV in 1371. An important industrial city, its Old Town was completely destroyed in 1944. Today it is an industrial hub in the Heilbronn-Franken region and known for its wine industry.
