Newport is situated on Aquidneck Island in Rhode Island. It is famous for its many historic mansions, some of them having served as “Summer White House”. Newport is home to the Naval Station Newport which houses the Naval War College, the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, and the Naval Justice School.
