Coat of Arms of Ebern

Ebern is a town in Lower Franconia that gets its name from the German word for boar: Eber. It has a beautiful market square with many timber-framed buildings. The city is nicknamed “Kegelspiel” (Nine-pin bowling) because of the eight towers that are part of the defensive wall and the central church tower.
