Kinderdijk is a small town in the Netherlands, situated in the Alblasserwaard polder. The town is famous for its group of 19 windmills which were built to drain the polder. It is the Netherlands largest concentration of historic windmills, a major tourist attraction and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997.
