Lombardy

Lombardy, a region in northern Italy, has Milan as its capital. It borders Switzerland. Italy's wealthiest region is known for the Alps, Lake Garda, and Lake Como. It features eleven UNESCO World Heritage Sites including the Venetian Walls of Bergamo, Santa Maria delle Grazie and Crespi d’Adda.
