East Flanders

East Flanders is a province in the Flemish Region of Belgium. Ghent, the capital, is noted for its medieval architecture and vibrant cultural scene. Other key cities include Aalst and Sint-Niklaas. The region features the Scheldt River, fertile agricultural land, a strong textile industry and many historical sites.
